A Fairy Tale Ending“And tomorrow I shall put the mask back on and fool the world into believing that I am fine, and perhaps one day I shall even fool my self and have the prefect life that I have dreamed of for so long.” Well that is the goal in life, to get your fair tale ending, the one with prince charming and his princess ridding off into the sunset on a white steed. Let’s face it no one gets there happy ending, truth be told we just settle for one person because we think we might be able to live with them for the rest of our lives. HopeShe sits alone In her corner again Her friends don’t notice They never notice They see her money never her The males see just a cheap thrill She wonders if they would notice They haven’t before But you look at her the marks tell all The scares, the bruises, and the distant eyes tell all Who needs words when the appearance can tell The smile she wears is just a facedHope
But they can never look past it Why would money or a thrill not smile She raises the blade and makes another line She is comforted now
